We have a new name to take us forward, "HeartsinHealthcare - Champions for Compassionate Care"
"HeartsinHealthcare" is the new name voted by subscribers on the email network, following extensive consultation and debate. Our initial suggestion, "RebelHeart", was voted down 2-to-1 and so we polled subscribers and received nearly 100 suggestions for a new name. [more]

Gearing up to take the movement forward
Following the dissolution of the Compassion in Healthcare Trust, we have created a new entity to take the international work forward. We have commissioned IT engineers, graphic designers, writers and editors to build a sophisticated new professional networking site and develop learning resources. [more]

Compassion in Healthcare Trust donates funds to earthquake appeal
At a meeting of the Trustees in March, there was a unanimous decision to donate our remaining funds to the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal with the new Zealand Red Cross. More than $8,000 has been given. This donation is in line with the provisions of the Trust Deed. [more]
