Recommendations to Health and Disability Commissioner on Public Consultation Document At the invitation of the Health and Disability Commissioner in September 2008, the Centre for Compassion in Healthcare suggested that the Code of Rights be amended to add "the right to be treated with compassion". This suggestion was included in the HDC Public Consultation document.
